On the tenth day of Christmas I longed for my heart to be awakened.
A heart that is fully alive.
It’s a life God gives to the believer.
The awakened heart craves for more of Him, it kneels in worship for who He is.
Psalm 42:1-2 “As the deer pants for flowing streams, so pants my soul for you, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.”
The awakened soul carries the message of true love.
A love like no other.
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he GAVE his only son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”
The heart awakened, cries out to the lost world the hope of a Savior that was born to die so they could live.
When revival takes place in the heart of a man or a woman, it stirs an awakening for so much more than this life.
Is your heart fully alive?
Do you long for more of Jesus?
We tell ourselves we need more time with God but the minutes quickly pass, the demands of our day consume us and before we know it, days have slipped by and we never once had time with the father.
Soon our passion and senses are dulled and we give in to our flesh forgetting that once we longed for more of Him.
To live in freedom takes courage.
To walk daily with your God takes discipline.
To have an awakened heart is to accept Jesus as Lord and savior of your life and to trust him for the road up ahead.
This journey on earth is for a moment.
Make your moment count and let your heart be awakened to all of God’s promises for you.
Praying for you,
