I’m wondering how you are today?
I’ve been praying for you this week.
By the way, where are you?
I don’t mean physically but spiritually.
Maybe you’re reading this and feeling your spiritual muscle flex because the sacred journey has led to a well watered garden.
I encourage you to keep the oasis of your heart filled with the things of God.
Perhaps some of you have lost your way and strayed off course unable to navigate your way back.
It could be that your journey has been long and hard, more difficult than I can fathom.
I understand life is messy at times leaving you injured by the strain of suffering.
It’s easy to find yourself walking away from the cross, when you’re searching for answers to the questions that grip your aching heart only to be met with silence.
Is it then you begin to doubt if God is really there and if he would come for you?
The enemy has trapped you into thinking you are too far gone and God is not concerned with you.
He has seized your weary heart and the truth you once knew has been pushed down beneath the rubble of your brokenness.
There is a parable found in Matthew 18: 12-14 ” If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them wanders away, what will he do? Won’t he leave the ninety-nine others on the hill and go out to search for the one that is lost? And if he finds it, I tell you the truth, he will rejoice over it more than over the ninety-nine that didn’t wander away! In the same way, it is not my heavenly father’s will that even one of these little ones should perish.” (NLT)
Jesus would leave everything to come and rescue you.
He would climb the highest mountains to bring you back home.
He is a good father and he longs for you to be back in His arms once again.
It’s never too late and you’re never too far.
James 4:8 tells us “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.”
Maybe it’s time for you to come home and once again walk in the light of His truth.
Continuing to pray for you,
Jamie
