We are 3 weeks into the new year.
How are you?
I hope you’ve been looking for ways to make life all that God intended it to be.
I pray you are not living life on autopilot or sleep walking through yet another year.
Are you focused on the old and all the things that kept you bound up last year?
It’s time to wake up.
I’m talking about, awakening your soul.
You believe you are awake because you get out of bed, get dressed, go to work.
Well, I’m sure you do more than that.
You meet the needs of your spouse and kids, feed the dog, care for the cat.
You might even have time for a conversation with your neighbor or spend time on social media.
yes, you are alive and breathing.
But are you living?
Have you felt the nudge of your heart as it whispers for something more?
Psalm 57: 8-10 ” Awake, my soul! Awake, harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn. I will praise you, O Lord, among the nations; I will sing of you among the people. For great is your love, reaching to the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies’
We were created for a deep and satisfying relationship with God.
It’s easy for our hearts to turn to other things we think will satisfy us, but we are left disappointed.
Psalm 27:4 “The one thing I ask of the Lord, the thing I seek most is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, delighting in the Lord’s perfection and meditating in his temple.”
Spend time with the Lord daily, it will change everything.
Awaken your soul for more of Him, don’t allow the day-to-day things of life cause you to lose your thirst for His promises.
Start everyday with prayer, meditating on the word of God and then take it into your day.
Be alive and ready for all that He has for you.
You were made for something more, let God point you in the right direction as you step into all that he has for you.
Don’t quiet your heart when it cries for more of Jesus.
Praying for you today,
