Do you trust God?

I mean really trust him.
It’s easy to say we do, isn’t it?

But when life gets tough and our faith is called upon, we begin to see the depth of our faith.

Deuteronomy 8:2
“Remember how the Lord God led you through the wilderness for these forty years, humbling you and testing you to prove your character and to find out whether or not you would obey his commands.”

The stories of the children of Israel are stories I often read.

When they remembered the things God had done for them it helped them trust God for their future.

Are you struggling right now?
Are you wondering where God is in the middle of your pain?

It’s time to remember.

Remember all that God has already done for you. His provision, his deliverance, and his faithfulness.

God hears us when we come to him;

1 John 5:14
“And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him.”

God will provide what we need;

Philippians 4:19
“And this same God that takes care of me will supply all your needs according to his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.”

God will cause ALL things to work out for our good. This might be hard to grasp especially when we are walking through dark times and we can’t see what’s up ahead.

This is when I have to stop myself from thinking I know God’s thoughts.
It’s when I have to “remember.”

I must remember God’s past faithfulness to me, it’s what helps me know he will be faithful in what is to come.

Take some time today to remember all that God has already done in your life.

Don’t allow yourself to be held captive by the lies of the enemy.

Hebrews chapter 11
Is beautifully written of those who’s faith moved mountains. Verse 6 says,
“And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.”

Faith is trusting the character of God before we see how it’s going to work out.

Whatever you’re facing today, I pray you remember the good things God has done. Remember he loves you more than you can imagine and he wants to make himself real to you.

“Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we can not see.” Hebrews 11:1

Put your trust in God.

Praying for you today,

  1. Thank you for this, it’s going through those times when your heart skips a beat and we should as you say look to those moments that God has been so faithful in our past times that he has got us through it. Hallelujah this is a eye opener for me and a reminder. Mahalo Ke Akua for your words that flow in and through jamie. Have a blessed day♡
